Flairna is a Chrome extension and website operated from Massachusetts, USA. Flairna is the controller of the personal data described here. Flairna requires an account (“Flairna account”) and stores account data remotely so it can work across connected devices.

What we collect

Account and billing. Email, protected sign-in information, plan, account and device identifiers, and subscription identifiers. Stripe handles payment-card details.

Shopping activity. Flairna never reads your Chrome browsing history. After you activate the extension and agree, it recognizes fashion products only on supported shopping sites and saves their page address, product information, retailer, price, images, and viewing time. It is designed to exclude general browsing and sensitive product categories. You can turn this off in the popup.

Your content. Likes, saves, feedback, searches, Generate prompts, recaps, preferences, and settings.

Technical and usage data. IP address, service requests, feature usage, error and security records, and limited device or browser information.

Why we use it

Contract. We use account details, your content, shopping activity you ask us to save, and technical requests to provide, sync, personalize, support, and bill for Flairna. Without an email and sign-in method we cannot provide an account; without shopping activity or Generate prompts the related personalization features cannot work.

Consent. We save supported fashion product pages only after you expressly activate tracking. You may withdraw consent by turning tracking off; this stops new page collection and does not affect earlier lawful processing.

Legitimate interests and law. We use proportionate technical, usage, security, and billing records to prevent fraud and abuse, keep the service reliable, understand feature performance, protect users and Flairna, establish or defend legal claims, and meet tax, accounting, consumer-protection, and other legal duties. Our interests are operating a secure, sustainable shopping service without advertising or selling user data.

Who receives it

Service providers process only what their role requires: US cloud hosting and database providers; OpenAI for optional AI features; a product-search provider for shopping searches; Jina AI as a limited web-page extraction fallback; Stripe for subscriptions; Google if you choose Google sign-in; and support, security, and professional advisers when needed. AI requests may include your prompt and relevant account content; OpenAI may retain API requests for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring under its terms, and API data is not used for training by default. The extraction fallback receives the retailer hostname, page path, and product variant needed to retrieve public product information.

Product images may load directly from a retailer or image-delivery host. That host receives the requested image address, your IP address, and ordinary browser information, but Flairna sends no page referrer. When Flairna proxies an image, the image host sees Flairna’s server request instead. We may disclose data if legally required or in a business transfer.

We do not sell personal data, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, use it for advertising, or use it for credit or lending decisions.

Stored in your browser

The extension keeps a working copy and sign-in token in an activated Chrome. The website keeps a sign-in token in your browser. These are not synced through your Google Chrome account.

Retention and deletion

Account content is kept until you delete it or the account, subject to documented capacity limits that compact older interactions while preserving preferences. Raw IP-linked usage records are de-identified after 62 days; monthly abuse counters are removed within 93 days. Short-lived activation, session, and checkout records are removed after they expire. Security logs are kept for the period needed to investigate and defend against abuse; support records for the life of the request and any dispute period; and billing records for applicable tax, accounting, chargeback, and legal periods. Deleted data may remain in restricted backups only until the configured backup-retention period expires. An external deletion ledger is retained at least as long as the oldest restorable backup and is replayed before a restore can serve traffic. De-identified totals may remain. Stripe keeps its own records under its policies.

Your choices and rights

You can turn tracking off, remove individual content, download your data, delete account content while keeping the login, or delete the account from the account page. Sign out in the Flairna popup, erase local data there, or remove the extension to delete that browser’s copy; this does not delete your account.

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection; withdraw consent; and appeal a denied request. You may complain to the data-protection authority (supervisory authority) where you live or work; UK residents may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means. Email the address below to exercise a right. We may verify your identity and will not discriminate against you for making a request.

International transfers and age

Flairna operates in the United States and its providers may process data there. Where required, transfers from the EEA or Switzerland rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and transfer assessments; UK transfers rely on the UK Addendum or another recognized mechanism. Email us to request information about the safeguard applicable to a transfer. Flairna is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child under 13 created an account, contact us so we can delete it. People who have not reached the age of majority where they live should use Flairna only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Whether a local EU or UK representative is required is reviewed before Flairna is offered in those regions.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Flairna’s use of information received through the Chrome extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Extension data is used only for Flairna’s disclosed shopping, closet, recommendation, security, and reliability features; it is not used for advertising, lending, or sale.
